26-year-old Maria Segura of Chicago was DRUNK around 4:00 A.M. on Monday . . . and with the drunk decisions she made, it's amazing she's alive.
Maria decided she needed some money, so even though she was VERY drunk and it was four in the morning, she hopped in her 1996 Chevy Cavalier to go to an ATM.
But she ended up driving off the road onto some RAILROAD TRACKS . . . and didn't realize it.
Fortunately for her, a cop saw her on the train tracks . . . and told a 911 dispatcher to stop any trains on the line until he got her out of there.
When the cop talked to her, she told him she was just looking for an ATM on the railroad tracks.
Her blood alcohol level was .208, or about two-and-a-half times the legal limit. She was arrested for driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license, and driving in the wrong lane. Her car was towed off the tracks and impounded.
