RIP Craig Mack

March 13, 2018

Craig Mack, the rapper from New York who found fame on Diddy’s Bad Boy label, has died at age 46.

Mack, who launched to hip-hop acclaim for the best-selling summer hit “Flava in Ya Ear” in 1994, died of heart failure at a hospital near his Walterboro, S.C., home Monday.

Producer Alvin Toney visited Mack in South Carolina last week to film a documentary.  Toney said Mack “was prepared for whatever comes, to go home to the Lord. He was prepared to do that. He wasn’t scared. He was ready.”
