A baby was born at 1:14 P.M. in Des Moines, Iowa.  That shouldn't be national news.  Until you look at the numbers a little closer.

It was an 8-pound, 9-ounce baby born on 10/11/12 at 13:14.  Yes, that's 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14.  Sure, you have to use military time to turn 1:14 P.M. into 13:14, but we're willing to make that stretch.

The baby's name is Laila Fitzgerald.  Her mother, 26-year-old Katie Deremiah, wasn't due until this week but went into labor about eight days early.  Both Katie and Laila are doing well.
